Bugema University’s Kampala Campus, established in 2005, represents a significant expansion of the university’s mission to provide holistic Christian education in Uganda. Initially, the campus operated as an evening satellite center at the Uganda Union of Seventh-day Adventists Headquarters in Makerere, primarily serving working professionals seeking flexible learning schedules. In 2009, the university acquired a dedicated facility along Muganzi Awongererwa Road, off Bwaise–Kavule Road, providing a permanent home for the Kampala Campus. ​

The Kampala Campus was officially accredited by the National Council for Higher Education in 2017, affirming its commitment to academic excellence and adherence to national educational standards. It offers a range of undergraduate programs in Business, Social Sciences, Education (Arts), and Informatics and Computing. Postgraduate studies are conducted on Sundays and/or online, accommodating the diverse needs of its student body. ​

As the first of Bugema University’s satellite centers in Uganda, the Kampala Campus continues to embody the institution’s motto, “Excellence in Service,” by providing accessible, quality education to a diverse student population.​
